Gauge 1 North West Group

Gauge 1 North West  Group is one of the local groups of the Gauge One Model Railway Association, a UK based international organisation with around 2500 members worldwide.

The North West  Group is located in Lancashire , with member from not just Lancashire but many surrounding areas.
The Group meet on regularly  for garden railway steam-ups in and around Southport.
Within the group there is a vast knowledge of Gauge 1 building of Locomotives in live steam and electric motive power including Battery power, together with rolling stock of many types and extensive knowledge of the garden railway construction in Gauge 1.

Many live steam and electric locomotives are Radio Controlled most of which are converted by members.

As a member of this group all of these expertise are  available to you,  from a very  friendly and helpful group of dedicated members.
